My Pen Name is Dangelo Rusell but most people know that I only write about sports. Most people at Lone Peak know that I am the biggest Cowboys fan in the world. All me and my friends talk about during class is College Football, NFL, NBA. If you don't believe me just ask Taylor Swain Or Mckoy Rawlings. Ive grown up loving sports. Its why I worked my butt off to become a college tennis player. So why wouldn't I blog about sports? Its what I love to do.

Can't tell you enough how much I love music. Without music how would this world be different. Honestly I don't wanna know. Music is a friend that will always be there for you whenever you need it. I need it everyday to be honest. 

Hurts

You wanna know what hurts... Losing to your enemy 7-5 in the third. For those who don't know tennis its like losing in 5 overtime in any other sport. The pain of losing is the worst feeling in the entire world. First of all I hate science and espically chemistry. BUT I WOULD RATHER SIT IN CHEMISTRY CLASS FOR 6 HOURS THEN LOSE IN A CLOSE MATCH. I thought when the cowboys lose it feels bad but nothing is worst then this feeling. nothing is worse.

Cowboys make me Depressed

Well I have had several people come up to me this week and saying " I know your Pen Name and Blog". So Ya this is Brocton's blog. Do you wanna know what makes me depressed? First,  My Dallas Cowboys going 2-0 then Dez Bryant and Tony Romo get injured. Second, You get the 2 worst backups in the history of the NFL. Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Third, You play the OVERRATED Seahawks and lose by 1. Overall this NFL season is killing me. Dallas Cowboys season is looking like its over.. I got a little hope left by not a lot. I hate losing.

Fear

Every Athlete has a fear of getting injured... Worst 10 injuries of all time.... PLEASE DO NOT WATCH IF YOU GET SICK EASILY.. VERY GROSS

Alive

Prayers up for my buddy Lamar odom. He was found passed out at a hotel in Vegas. He is currently still in the hospital but is doing better. Times like this make me realize how blessed I am and I shouldn't be complaining. I have a nice house, car, girlfriend and everyone in my family is healthy. Im praying for you Lamar. Love you buddy

HUGE S/O to the University of Utah. They went up to Oregon and smashed them. Utah looking like the pac 12 favorite to me. They have a tough home game against Cal coming up. That will test to see how good they really are. But I love their chances. I think the winner of Utah vs ucla game is gonna decide who wins the pac 12. Once again. Congrats Utes

NFL Week 2 Recap

Broncos 31 Chiefs 24
Tough lost for the Chiefs... 5 turnovers! That can't happen if you want to beat your rival. The Chiefs should have won but Denver's Defense really stepped it up. Peyton Manning found his groove and never looked back. Broncos are 2-0 and got a huge win in Kansas City. Broncos looking good

Panthers 24  Texans 17
If I was a Texans I would be worried.. Texans have no offense and JJ Watt can't do everything. 0-2 isn't looking to hot. As for Carolina I mean you are 2-0 but you haven't played anyone who is considered good. Cam Newton looked like superman and Panthers are 2-0

Steelers 43  Niners 18
STEELERS!!! Can anyone stop Big Ben and Brown? The Steelers made the Niners look like children out there. Niners are overrated and Steelers proved that. I really like what Im seeing out in PITT. Steelers are a team to watch. Niners will have to go to Arizona and see if they can bounce back...

Bucs 26   Saints 19
WHO DAT... SAINTS? Saints look AWFUL... Drew Brees injured... Come on saints you gotta be better.. YOU LOST TO THE BUCS!! Jameis Winston not looking bad tho.. Bounce back week! Bucs get the big win on the road

AD! WOW the vikings gave the best running back in the NFL the ball and look what happened. They come away with a huge win and a good bounce back week. The lions... well its crunch time now.. 0-2 in a tough division. They play Denver at home and basically they have to win or their season is over...

Cardinals 48  Bears 23
Cardinals look really good but lets be honest... The bears suck. The cardinals got an easy win and there isn't a lot to talk about. Fitzgerald had a monster game and thats about it. Cardinals 2-0 and lead the NFC West. Nice job

Patriots 40  Bills 32
THIS IS THE BILLS SUPER BOWL.. well thats how the bills treated it like and it showed.. they choked.. Just like they did against the Dallas Cowboys in the 90's.. Tom brady picked apart that defense like it was nothing. PATS>>>>>>>BILLS

Bengals 24  Chargers 19
BENGAL CITY! ITS NOT A PLAYOFF GAME SO THEY WIN A BIG GAME! CONGRATS! to bad its the start of the season and it doesn't mean a ton that you won. Chargers looked decent on the road. But like Phillip Rivers said after the game "We lost a road game week 2 of the season... Not a big deal'. Nice job Bengals 

Brown 28  Titans 14
Johnny Football is back! He out plays Marcus Mariota! I love the Titans future. I think they got a stud QB. It's tough to go on the road as a rookie and get the win. But the Browns have to start playing Johnny More. He is the man. Maybe Johnny can make the browns a playoff team;)

Falcons 24  Giants 20
Giants blow the game again... up 10 in the 4th quarter again... Eli manning is sucking... Giants need to get there act together soon!! Falcons 2-0 and off to a great start! Falcons Julio Jones is a straight up beast. Falcons head to Dallas for a tough one. Giants in a must win game against the Redskins.. Thursday Night! GO SKINS!

Redskins 24   Rams 10
This is why the Rams won't make the playoffs... you have a huge win over the Seahawks then you blow it against the Skins... Really?? COME ON MAN! Skins get a nice win and in a huge game against the Giants. Lets see how good this Skins team really is

Jaguars 23  Dolphins 20
  Another team that will not make the playoffs is because they don't beat the teams they are supposed to beat.. Dolphins.. COME ON MAN! Dolphins should easily be a playoff team. You can't lose to the Jags.. Jags are horrible.. No respect Jags

Raiders 37   Ravens 33
WHERE DID THE RAVENS GO??? they just lost to the Raiders.. Ravens in a MUST WIN game next week against the Bengals... Ravens need to get there act together.. Raiders future looking positive! Love Amari Cooper. He is a beast. I like this Raiders team. 

Cowboys 20  Eagles 10
NO ROMO! NO DEZ! HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!! They go to Philly and grind out a win against a good eagles team... or maybe not that good.. Demarco Murray is AWFUL! Eagles 0-2 and I LOVE IT! WE DEM BOYS!

Packers 27  Seahawks 17
Legion of ? No boom without KAM! Packers over match Seattle at home! Green bay looking sharp and ready for a deep playoff run like every year. The Seahawks need to get going and find a way to win.. 0-2...

Jets 20  Colts 7
 J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! 2-0!! Jets looking good! Andrew Luck and the colts looking awful... 0-2. Colts will get going this week against the Titans! Jets have a tough one against the Eagles at home.. It would be big if they could go 3-0.

Dreams

As a kid you and your best friend always dream of becoming a pro athlete. Well my best friend Byron jones and I got drafted this year. We both got drafted in the first round. I can't tell you how many times we would go train together and push each other to make us become who we are today. The day I bet Byron was in 2nd grade art class and we both reached for that blue crayon. Ever since that day we do everything together. We are both blessed that we achieved our goal of becoming pro athletes. But we both know it doesn't stop there.. #loading

NFL Week 1 predictions

This week for some people is better then Christmas... NFL and College Football are officially back!! I am a bigger NFL fan and thats why I am going to make predictions for every single game this week! If you are a big gambler listen close because all of my picks will be right. Lets start out with Thursday night... We all knew the Patriots were going to beat the Steelers.. Tom Brady the cheater who can get away with anything had a solid performance and his main wingman Gronk had a very solid start to the season and the Pats got the Win 28-21. Who cares about that game anyways... SUNDAY MORNING when the season really starts!

Packers @ Bears
I don't think the Bears stand a chance in this game... Aaron Rodgers will destroy the Bears defense. Expect Randle Cobb to have a massive game because Jordy Nelson is out for year. Jay cutler will have another bad season but he still gets paid like Aaron Rodgers.... In the end the Packers are to strong for the Bears. Packers 31 Bears 14

Chiefs @ Texans
This is gonna be a BORING game.. unless you like defense. JJ Watt will continue to be a monster and dominate the Chiefs offensive line. BUT JJ Watt can't do everything for the Texans. I like Alex Smith to go on the road and lead the Chiefs to a game winning drive. Chiefs 17  Texans 14

Browns @ Jets
I like what the Jets did this offseason they got Brandon Marshall and Darrell Revis. I like the Jets to win another Boring game. The Browns just don't have a good enough QB to go to New York and get that W. Jets 24  Browns 14

Colts @ Bills
Now this will be a good game! Colts got that Bad Man Andrew Luck and he got two knew wingmans this offseason. Andre Johnson and Frank Gore. But don't count out the Bills. They got a knew head coach Rex Ryan and traded for star running back LeSean McCoy. I like the Bills to pull out a close one and get the upset. I think LeSean McCoy will love his knew team and have a very good game. Bills 28 Colts 24

Dolphins @ Redskins
There is no way around this one.. The Redskins are trash. RG3 will soon be out of DC. The dolphins go to the Capitol and SMASH the skins. Dolphins 31   Redskins 7

Panthers @ Jaguars 
The Jaguars are getting better... Slowly but surely.. Cam Newton aka Superman will go to Jacksonville and tear apart the D. I like the Panthers to win this game easily and congrats to the Panthers Linebacker Luke Kuechly for getting his New Contract! Panthers 35 Jaguars 17

Seahawks @ Rams
Seattle coming off that awful choke in the super bowl... They stole Jimmy Graham but I don't think Jimmy Graham will be the same Graham he was in New Orleans. I got the Rams winning this game because Nick Foles will have a very good year. Rams win. Rams 24  Seahawks 21

Saints @ Cardinals 
The saints are not a good road team and going to Arizona is just to big of a challenge for them. Carson Palmer is back and Arizona will be ready. Arizona is going to win NFC West this year and take down the Seahawks. They start this week and get the Win over Drew Brees. Cardinals 31 Saints 21

Lions @ Chargers
I don't know how good the lions will be this year.. They lost Suh and thats a huge loss. Phillip Rivers got his money and I think the Chargers will win a tough hard battle game. San Diego Fans will be going crazy because this could be their last year in San Diego. Chargers 24  Lions 21

Titans @ Bucs
1 vs 2. Winston vs Mariota. This game is gonna be very fun to watch because you have the 2 best rookie QBs going against each other. I like Winston to get the win because his team is way more talented then Mariota's team. The bucs get the win in an ugly game. Bucs 27 Titans 17

Bengals @ Raiders
This will probably be the most boring game this week. The Bengals will go to Oakland and get that easy win. No way around it. Bengals 35 Raiders 17

Ravens @ Broncos
Could this be Manning's last year? The Broncos are too talented and will win this game. Expect a huge game from Thomas. He got his huge contract and I think he's gonna have a massive game. The Ravens will put up a fight tho. Broncos are just to tough at home. Broncos 31 Ravens  28

Giants @ Cowboys
One of the best rivalries in football. Odell vs DEZ.  This game will be very very close. In the end Dallas will be just as good as last year and get that win. Expect a huge game from dez and romo. The giants just don't have the firepower to hang with Dallas. This will be close because its a division game. Dallas 38 Giants 31

Eagles @ Falcons 
Talk about a crazy offseason.. Thats what the Eagles had. They got DeMarco Murray Sam Bradford. But I like the Falcons to win this game! I'm going with an upset. Matt Ryan will find a way to win! Atlanta's fans are going to be going CRAZY! Falcons 41 Eagles 38

Vikings @ 49ers
The man himself is back. ADRIAN PETERSON! Expect a massive game from AD. Vikings go to San Francisco and Smash the Niners. Vikings have a lot of potential. Adrian Peterson will rush for 150 yards and 2 Tds. Vikings 28 Niners 10

FOOTBALL SEASON IS BACK!!! LETS GO!

College Football Week 1

Well since I told you I am going to write about football.... HOW BOUT WEEK 1 OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! It all started Thursday Night at Utah. Utah vs Michigan.  Jim Harbaugh returns to Michigan. To bad for Jim the Utes spoiled his first game back with the Wolverines. Utah got the win 24-17. Utah will be back at home again this week against a pretty crappy Utah State team who got the  win 12-9 against SUU. Saturday mornings are the day everyone has been waiting for... College Gameday! The boys were back in action in Dallas Fort-worth. Alabama vs Wisconsin. The Roll Tide showed how strong there were and just overmatched the Badgers with a 35-17 win. Stanford on the other hand and ended up with a loss to Northwestern. Stanford favorite to win the Pac 12 North looked very sloppy and far from Pac 12 North Champions. Speaking of Pac 12 losses ASU, Washington, Washington State and Colorado all ended up with that fat Lost... On the other side of the spectrum the SEC looked Dominant! 11-1 this week! The game of the week though was BYU beating Nebraska 33-28 in Nebraska. The cougars ended up winning on a game winning hail mary in the end zone. Sadly BYU's starting QB Taysom Hill is out for season.. We wish him a speedy recovery:) Week 1 is a wrap! I am so glad that college football is back! See you next week!

The Best Hat

The best hat I have Ever worn was the hat on draft day. First of all getting drafted #2 overall by the Lakers was a dream. Second this is just CLEAN. I'm not usually a hat person but I always wear this beautiful hat. The logo on front reminds me how lucky I am to do the thing I love the most and thats basketball. This is will always be my favorite hat.
